Klaipėda Drama Theatre Building Reconstruction Project was commenced to be implemented in the spring of 2010. The contractor of construction works –"Pamario restauratorius", UAB – dismantled the old Drama Theatre's building extension which had subsided into the ground, excavated the soil from beneath the historical building and installed new pile foundations, reconstructed the dismantled building volumes, and installed the roof.
In the autumn of 2012, façade works were accomplished and the old Klaipėda Drama Theatre recovered its original appearance and colours. Presently, internal reconstruction works of the theatre building are being carried out. The scheduled end of reconstruction works – December, 2015.
The value of construction works under the project – 724,050,006 EUR (25.006 million LTL).
